Medical Directors Committee

The Medical Directors Committee is comprised of Chiefs of Staff, Medical Directors and Vice President of Medical Affairs and is responsible for the design, execution and evaluation of the project’s various quality improvement initiatives. The Medical Directors have chosen the issue of Congestive Heart Failure as their first focus area and have formed the Beta Blockade Project to investigate this topic.

Quality Council

The Quality Council is made up of CEOs and vice presidents of medical affairs from hospitals participating in the project, and serves as the governing board along with several members from the business community. They provide oversight and leadership and serve as the “stewards” of the iniative.
