Impacting Reimbursement Through MDS, RUG Rates And Case Mix

Ø      Join your colleagues for this program & networking opportunity focusing on maximizing your reimbursement – a crucial part of the business of healthcare.   The program will include an explanation of MDS regulations, methods for determining the accuracy of your case mix reports, a review of common coding errors and more.

Ø      Program presenter will be Tammy Cassidy RN, BSN, BC, LNHA, RAC-C.  Tammy has 14 years of management experience in long term care and has worked for CMS as a DAVE2 surveyor.  She teaches the MDS portion of the Core of Knowledge program for new administrators through the State of Ohio and serves on the MDS taskforce for The Ohio Healthcare Association.  Ms. Cassidy’s major focus is to raise awareness of the MDS process, correct coding and improve reimbursement.
