The Vacancy/Turnover Survey examines the vacancy rate and turnover rate data for 30 positions at the participating organizations. Data documenting openings, filled positions, hires and separations are collected for these positions by full-time equivalent (FTE) and head count.

The vacancy and turnover data is requested for each six-month period from January 1 – June 30 and from July 1 – December 31.
