The Greater Cincinnati Health Council will host its 11th annual Solutions health conference and expo on Wednesday, February 28, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington, Kentucky. The conference will feature more than 70 exhibitors, as well as a diverse selection of regional and national speakers, including:
- Kick-off speaker Emily Friedman, who will detail how the quest toward a gold standard of service begins with a focus on quality in three crucial areas: care, community and conscience.
- Keynote speaker Tim Porter O’Grady, who will explain why evidence-driven actions serve as the keys for ushering in a new phase of health care.
- Solutions Spotlight speaker Adrian Gostick, who will focus on why integrity and credibility are vital cornerstones for effective leadership.
Additionally, separate conference break-out topics include:
- Methods for retaining the Tristate’s most experienced nurses
- Strategies for communicating hospital benefits to the community
- The Tristate’s current emerging health care market trends
- Dealing with the unexpected in health care
The conference will conclude with the presentation of the second annual Innovative Solutions Award, which was created in 2006 to recognize unique approaches to clinical or non-clinical hospital process improvement, patient care initiatives, or innovative/creative change projects.
